Sleep and Media Streaming

The purpose of the current study is to explore the relationship between streaming media usage, particularly near bedtime, and different dimensions of sleep, including sleep duration, sleep efficiency, and symptoms of sleep disorders like insomnia.

The primary aim of the proposed study is to examine the relationship between streaming media usage and sleep health, habits, and patterns. The population of this study will be that of university students from two institutions. The intended population of this study is undergraduate students enrolled at OSU or Chaminade University, generally aged between 18-23 and expected to match the demographic makeup of their respective universities.
